Kim Victoria Cattrall, born on the 21st of August, 1956 in London in London, is the daughter of a British and Canadian actress. She is most famous for her character Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. In this role, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award for 2002 for the Best Supporting Female Actor. In the years 2008 and 2010 she reprised the role in the movies Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. She is also known for her leading roles in the 1980s films Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's. Kim Cattrall comes to mind when you mention her as Samantha Jones on the hit HBO TV show Sex & the City. The well-known actress' performance as Samantha Jones has been a defining moment in her career. The show not only increased her popularity amongst the national audience but made an international celebrity, bringing the actress a lot of fame and respect. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Most well-known is her part in the drama comedy La Dolce Vita. The film won an Oscar as well as the Golden Palm in Cannes Film Festival of 1960. The film was also critical and commercially successful. Her acting career began when she became a fashion designer in Skane. In the end, she won the Miss Sweden Contest. In the US her first appearance was in movies with minor parts. She had her first role on screen in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars as an Venusian. Following her appearance in Blood Alley, she won the Golden Globe Award in the category of most promising youngcomer.
